Vision Training Grant for Graduate Students
A training grant from the National Eye Institute provides support for three graduate
students each year. Positions on the training grant are competitively awarded to students
in affiliated research labs. Training grant support generally begins in the second
graduate year.

Support for vision training also comes from departmental programs and fellowships from
Brown Institute for Brain Science.
Center for Vision Research Postdoctoral Fellowship
The Center for Vision Research confers 1 – 2 awards annually for the support of
postdoctoral fellows conducting research on vision. Support is awarded competitively
from faculty-nominated postdocs.
